Chairman and Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Karl Kan Zhang co-founded CooTek in 2008 and has served as its Chairman of the Board of Directors since March 2012 and Chief Technology Officer since April 2020. Mr. Zhang also served as the Chief Architect from August 2008 to April 2020. Prior to founding CooTek, Mr. Zhang served as a research and development manager at Microsoft Advanced Technology Center from 2004 to 2008. Prior to that, Mr. Zhang served as a software engineer at Intel China Software Lab from 2002 to 2004. Mr. Zhang received his bachelor's degree in mechanical and electronic engineering from Shanghai University in 2002.
Director, Chief Executive Officer and President
Ms. Susan Qiaoling Li co-founded CooTek in 2008, and has served as its director since October 2012, Chief Executive Officer since November 2021 and President since April 17, 2018. Ms. Li first served as Chief Marketing Officer in 2008, and was then appointed as Head of Global Business Division in September 2015. Prior to founding CooTek, Ms. Li served as a program manager in Microsoft China Co., Ltd.'s Shanghai Branch from 2005 to 2008, where she gained extensive experience in developing software and managing key accounts. Prior to that, Ms. Li served as a software quality engineer at Intel (China) Co., Ltd from 2003 to 2005. Ms. Li received her bachelor's degree in automation from Tsinghua University in 2000 and her master's degree in computer engineering from North Carolina State University in 2003.
Interim Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Jacky Junkai Lin has served the role of the interim CFO since April 2022. Mr. Lin has been the Company’s financial controller since March 2, 2020 and interim Chief Financial Officer from April to August 2020. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Lin served as the chief financial officer of Mixpace and the financial director of Fosun Property Holdings Limited. From 2009 to 2015, Mr. Junkai Lin worked at KPMG as an auditor. Mr. Lin received his bachelor’s degree in management from Fudan University in 2009 and is a member of Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CICPA).
